Child Data & Safeguarding
Last updated: 12/01/2026
Important: Learnlio is designed for children, but accounts are managed by a parent/guardian.
Learnlio does not provide emergency support. If a child is at risk of harm, contact local emergency services.
Our approach
Learnlio is built around a calm, supportive tutoring style. We focus on:
- Child-led learning
- Dyslexia-friendly explanations
- Safe pacing and age-appropriate difficulty
- Encouragement that rewards effort, not pressure
What data we store for children
- First name / nickname
- Date of birth (for age-appropriate content)
- Learning progress and basic session records
We strongly recommend parents use a first name or nickname only.
What we do not allow
Please do not enter:
- Full names (surname)
- Address, phone number, school name
- Medical records or sensitive personal details
Safety boundaries in tutoring
- We keep explanations age-appropriate and supportive.
- We avoid shame-based language and reduce “right/wrong” pressure.
- We cap pacing by age and promote breaks.
Parent control
- Parents create and manage child profiles.
- Parents can view progress and reports.
- Parents can request deletion of data at any time.
